For Sullivan, who hails from Massachusetts and remains the only American-born coach to claim two Cup titles, this milestone represented both reflection and renewal.

The win marked the 480th of Sullivan’s professional coaching career, coming mere days after a tough 3–0 season-opening loss to his former team, the Penguins.
